Hello, Lovely.
Have you ever hesitated on a decision and wondered: Is this discernment or is this fear?
Sometimes you really are sensing that something is off. And sometimes fear is predicting rejection, failure, or embarrassment and convincing you that you need one more opinion before you can trust what you already know.
In Episode 6 of S.H.E. Coaching Moments, we’re talking about how to tell the difference.
Here’s the S.H.E. Coaching truth: Self-trust doesn’t mean pushing past every warning. It means examining your hesitation so fear, pressure, and other people’s opinions don’t get to make the decision for you.
Try this simple reflection: Facts. Fears. Faith.
What do I know?
What am I predicting?
What do I believe God is inviting me to trust?
And then ask: Am I second-guessing myself or accurately reading the environment?
Don’t treat every uncomfortable feeling like a stop sign.
Sometimes discomfort isn’t telling you to retreat; it’s asking the woman you’ve become to trust what she knows.
Comment DISCERN if you’re learning to separate wisdom from fear.
